Air cargo demand continued to surge despite eco uncertainties: IATA

IATA reported that air cargo demand rebounded in 2023, reaching a level just slightly below 2022 and 2019. The capacity also increased in 2023. December 2023 saw a strong performance, with global demand and capacity exceeding 2022 levels. Asia-Pacific airlines had the best performance, while European carriers experienced a decrease in demand.
