Adani Ports posts bigger Q3 profit on higher cargo volumes, tariffs

Adani Ports which operates 13 ports and terminals, witnessed a four-fold growth in volume handling capacity since 2011. The company's strong performance is attributed to the surge in India's imports and exports. Adani Ports' largest container handling port is Mundra in Gujarat. The consolidated net profit rose to 22.08 billion rupees ($266.1 million) in the October-December quarter.
