T P Gopalan Nambiar, founder of Indian electronics company BPL Group, passed away on Thursday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa expressed their condolences, acknowledging Nambiar's role as a pioneering innovator and industrialist.
