Stocks rise in Asia on hopes of slowing rate hikes

MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was 0.89% higher, led by a rebound in Hong Kong and China stocks, while Japan's Nikkei rose 1.2% to climb above 27,500, its highest level since Sept. 20.
