Vacant seats in medical colleges: MCC, Centre playing with students' lives, says SC

The Supreme Court on Wednesday expressed displeasure over vacancy of seats in medical colleges in session 2021-22. Noting that as many as 1,456 seats were not filled during the said session, the court said the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the central government were "playing with students' lives" by not conducting mop-up round of counselling.
