The BJP has reacted sharply to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s allegation that lynching has become common after the Narendra Modi government came to power at the Centre in 2014. In a personal attack, the ruling party accused former Prime Minister and Rahul’s father late Rajiv Gandhi as the “father of lynching”.
