Over 4.86 crore ITRs filed for FY21 so far, nearly 19 lakh filed on Dec 28

Over 4.86 crore Income Tax Returns for 2020-21 fiscal have been filed so far including over 18.89 lakh ITRs filed on December 28 alone, the I-T department said on Wednesday. The department has already extended the deadline for individual taxpayers to file income tax returns by five months till December 31, 2021.
